We are the Newport Coast Triathlon Team with our title sponsor McNeil Dermatology. We are a versatile team with athletes at all different levels competing at Sprints, Olympic, Half and Ironman distances. We are relatively smaller (120 members) and more cohesive group that fosters a genuine team atmosphere within a very individualized sport. We enthusiastically support each other, and celebrate our successes as we train, travel and race together.

NCTT just finish with the California Ironman 70.3 and LA Tri Series #1 & Wildflower training weekend April 13-15.  Now we look forward for the upcoming events.

The first race in May starts with Wildflower Triathlon, known for particularly hilly and grueling course.

Second Triathlon in may is the ITU World Triathlon   

 In conjunction with the Elite World Triathlon event, top-flight Olympic- and sprint-distance age-group races will be contested with a total of up to 3,000 amateurs competing in the same venue as the world's best athletes. Race-day action is scheduled to start on Saturday, May 12, 2012, with the age-group Olympic-distance and relay races at 6:30 a.m., followed by the sprint-distance event at 9:30 a.m.

Congratulations to al the athletes who raced the Newport Beach Triathlon on October 23, 2011.

Newport Coast Triathlon Team was well represented on the podium.

Rich placed second in his age group with an impressive 1:20:40.

Mike placed third in his age group and pulled off a 1:15:42.

Nanci, Glenys, and Richard placed third in their division for the outstanding job they did as a relay team!

Congrats to the team!! We had a great team race beating out all the other teams to win the team championship on March 5th & 6th out in Palm Desert. This was due to part participation, part podium places, and team spirit. Our 30 some athletes that participated outdid other teams that had 80 participants and thanks to those that come out to cheer.  Excellent job team!

The Ventura race venue (and course) have changed to the Ventura Harbor.  I changed hotel reservations to the Four Star by Sheridan at Ventura Harbor as it appears to be the closest hotel to the new race site.
